First Visit

What to expect on the first visit

Before the decision to recommend surgery or any other corrective treatment can be made, you must schedule an initial examination so that we can properly diagnose any ocular problems. Upon arrival to the office, our staff will create a new chart where we can chart your progress. While waiting, we encourage you to browse through our extensive selection of fashionable frames and lenses.

We administer tests both before and after your time with the doctor, and will generally need to dilate your eyes to properly examine them. The doctor will make recommendations for treatment based on a review of the results to these examinations. We will endeavor to address every question and concern you have before proceeding with treatment.

Our goal is always to provide prompt service and to respect your time. You can count on us to stay on schedule, although sometimes we must make last minute accommodations for emergency visits. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule as soon as possible.
